InvestHK, the Commercial Office of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in HKSAR, and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province will co-organize a Symposium in the form of a webinar that aims to encourage foreign companies in Hong Kong to explore the emerging business opportunities in Shandong, as well as to attract Shandong enterprises to develop their businesses in Hong Kong.
With a GDP of over RMB7.3 trillion in 2020, Shandong is an important maritime economy hub for the Mainland covering a wide range of industries such as food manufacturing, energy industry, both light and heavy industries, etc.
Participants will get the latest news and updates on the business environment in Shandong, learn about the significant incentives made available and in due course, connect with key representatives from Shandong Province.
This Symposium is part of an initiative comprising three core events taking place in the course of 2022:
1. Symposium promoting Shandong to foreign enterprises in Hong Kong on 2 June 2022;
2. Symposium promoting Hong Kong to Shandong enterprises in Q3 2022; and
3. Visit to Shandong in Q4 2022
